WHAT IS THE EPIC GAMES CREATOR SUPPORT PROGRAM?
Support-A-Creator allows creators to earn money creating content for Fortnite, Rocket League, and all games on the Epic Games Store.
Epic believes that creators are a critical part of building communities around great games. We recognize how important creators of all kinds have been to our success, which is why we created this program to share that success.
We are looking for creators who focus on the quality of the moments they create and share, the communities they create, and the love they have for the games they play.
HOW DO THE NEW CREATORS APPLY TO SUPPORT-A-CREATOR 2.0?
Starting November 30, a renewed application page will be available here, where creators can apply to become members of the program. Anyone who has already submitted a request to Support-A-Creator will need to submit a new request before this date.
Note: Creators who have previously violated the Support-A-Creator Membership Agreement, which includes violations of the Support-A-Creator Code of Conduct, and who have been removed from the program will not be eligible to submit a new demand or be reinstalled.
HOW IS MY CREATOR CODE MADE?
Once your application is approved, your creator code will be automatically generated based on your current Epic Games display name. If your display name contains special characters other than an underscore (_), dash (-), or period (.), We'll remove them (this to make sure it's editable and unique). In some cases, we may also need to add randomized numbers to the end of your new creator code.
IMPORTANT: If you don't want a creator code based on your current Epic Games display name, be sure to change your Epic Games display name to something that works best for you as a creator code before you apply.
Once your Creator Code is generated, you will only be able to change it once per 12 month period. For help requesting a creator code change, click here.
HOW DO EXISTING CREATORS MIGRATE TO SUPPORT A 2.0 CREATOR?
In the coming months, current Support-A-Creator members will need to migrate their accounts to Support-A-Creator 2.0. These creators will receive portal and email notifications when it's time to start the migration process. Creators will then be invited to review the new Support-A-Creator Creative Agreement and provide updated information on payments, taxes, and social media. Alternatively, for creators who do not wish to upgrade to Support-A-Creator 2.0, there will be a separate process for receiving final payment (if applicable) and exiting the program.

HOW DO CREATORS MAKE MONEY?
For Fortnite, accepted creators will earn 5% of the value of in-game purchases made with their creator code. This applies to earned V-Bucks, purchased V-Bucks, and most real money offers. Players declare their support for an in-game Fortnite creator by entering the creator's code via the “Support a Creator” button.
For games on the Epic Games Store, creators can share referral links on their channels or promote their creator code to their subscribers to get credit for the sales of those games. Each game has a different revenue share for assigned sales defined by the developer, but all games have a minimum rate of 5%.
For Rocket League, accepted creators will earn 5% of the credits spent on the game using their creator code. This applies to credits used in the Item Shop, Blueprint Building, and Rocket Pass Premium upgrades. Players declare their support for a Rocket League creator in-game by entering the creator's code in the item shop.
Regardless of the game, players can choose to support another creator at any time. Once selected, this Creator Code will be set for 14 days, unless another Creator Code is entered. After 14 consecutive days, the previously selected Creator Code will expire, after which players will be able to select the same Creator Code for another 14 day period or choose a new one.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE?
- Creators (i.e. active video creators, streamers, storytellers, artists, cosplayers, musicians, and community creators) who meet the following criteria are eligible to participate:
- You are at least 13 years old, or at least 14 years old if you live in South Korea.
- Have more than 1,000 followers * on at least one of the following eligible social platforms:
- YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or VK
- You can agree to the Creator's Contract (either on your behalf, your minor child, or the legal entity you represent)
- They may follow our Content Guidelines for Creators.
- They can receive payments using our designated payment platform, currently Hyperwallet
- * Note: The social subscriber requirement does not apply to Epic Approved Fortnite Creative Island Builders.
WHO IS NOT ELIGIBLE?
The Support-A-Creator program is not open to individuals or entities who do not meet the eligibility requirements listed above. Additionally, the program is not open to individuals or corporations in China or where restricted or prohibited by applicable law or any country not permitted by US law. This includes, but is not limited to, natural or legal persons in the region of Crimea, Cuba, Eritrea, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Myanmar (Burma), North Korea, Somalia, Sudan and Syria.
The Epic ecosystem and the Support-A-Creator program celebrate diversity and look forward to continuing to add support for additional regions and languages over time.
DOES THIS PROGRAM MAKE CREATORS RICH?
Expect modest results. The amount you win varies depending on how many players choose to support you. An example from Fortnite: if your fans in the game spend 50,000 V-Bucks on the game, you will earn $ 25. An example from Epic Games Store: if your followers buy games worth $ 100, you will earn $ 5 (at base funded by Epic).
WHEN DO I HAVE TO BE PAID?
First of all: to receive payment, you must complete the required tax interview and create a Hyperwallet account.
No compensation is earned or credited to you under this program unless you earn $ 100 or more in a consecutive 12-month period. This means that if you do not reach the $ 100 compensation threshold within a consecutive 12-month period, all credited purchases and / or refunds made by subscribers during that 12-month period will be forwarded to zero.
Once you have been verified as an active creator and have reached the minimum payment threshold of $ 100, the payment will be sent to Hyperwallet for processing. Specifically, payment instructions must be submitted to Hyperwallet 45 days after the end of the month in which the creators obtained them. For example, February payments are scheduled for April 15, March payments for May 15, and so on.
WILL I BE DELETED IF I DON'T MEET THE PAYMENT THRESHOLD?
Creators must reach the $ 100 payment threshold within 12 months; otherwise, the affiliate's earnings will expire and the account will be closed.
HOW CAN I CORRECTLY DISCLOSE THAT I AM PART OF THE PROGRAM?
